The Horizon-class bulk freighter is an exploritory effort by Rendili StarDrive into the freighter market. Though previous attempts at creating a popular freighter vessel have been unsuccessful, Rendili has high hopes for the Horizon-class. The Horizon freighter has four heavy-duty ion engines, which gives it an impressive speed. A class 1 hyperdrive allows for speedy hyperspace travel, as well. The Horizon is also equipped with a set of light shield generators and quadanium steel plating provide it with an effective defense, while the stock model is armed with a light turbolaser turret and ion cannon. As with many freighters, the Horizon is very modular and easily modified for any purpose, be it long-ranged cargo hauler, transport, or even a small warship.
