(Transmission continued) At the last moment, Yossa jumped into the closing portal, Leaving me and neera on the sith homeworld with enough supplies to last us about a week. I don't really want to talk about the nightmare trek from the cave to the nearest city. It's like a gap in my memory, like a nightmare that you can only vaguely remember. After we got back to Ord Mantell in a battered sith starship, we found out Darak and Keela had attacked our house together and killed cklit. Vande and him had only been married about ten years, and she took it really badly. It affected Aayla, too. She always thought of Darak as a brother to her, someone to look up to. This sudden change really hit her hard. Then we joined the Rebel Alliance. Mon Mothma is really kind, and we saw a few old faces there. Jek and Zev, for example. The last time we'd seen them has been after We'd destroyed the Cones of power on Tatooine. Our first mission was to take out A Com signal burner that was situated in a space station hanging over Yavin IV. Mon Mothma seemed to imply that they where going to build a base there and they needed access to the holonet. Filli wanted to come for the experience and I let her. Suroog was doubtful, but I told him to trust her; Something I would never have done when I was younger. He seems to think that she's still the frightened twi'leck girl hiding from the seps just before The Jedi purge. She managed okay, with a few minor bumps and grazes. The next mission was to grab some info on a top security base on Myrkr. Suroog and Yossa took out the electricity generator (pic 1) while I cut through the fence and tried to flush the imperial special-ops out of the second door. Neera, Vande, Filli and Aayla where there, waiting to pick them off. Sunchoo and R2 stayed in the YT and the UNIQUE in case we needed backup. ALWAYS have backup. It all went as planned when I got a really bad hit from one of the special-ops guys; They're pretty tough, way tougher than the average trooper. I managed to get a couple of them down but then they tossed a stun grenade at the girls and left with them under lock and key. Had to call in R2 Superior navigation skills to help track them down, but we managed it in the end. Filli nearly died on their ship. Suroog took it badly, and although he didn't say it, I could sense he blamed me for his wife's near-death. So no brownie point for me o that mission, then. I'll write more later. Aayla wants a game of Leensh. Ever since I invented the game to get some credits She's been beating me at it. Soon she'll have more creds than her dad. *Transmission ended* Stay tuned for more excelsior team updates!
