“Epilogue” The person who ran into the room of which Dareg died in was his mother. She saw Dareg laying on the ground and ran toward him, bawling. As she knelt down beside him, she felt his pulse slowly come to a halt, which caused her to cry even more. The Emperor walked in a minute or so later, grinning evilly. Dareg’s mother ran toward him. When she reached him, she swung his fists through the air wildly, trying to hit him. Two of Sidious’ royal guards restrained her. “How could you do that to him?!” Dareg’s mother screamed in anger and horror. The Emperor grinned. As he was about to reply to her, a stormtrooper ran into the room and whispered something into his ear. The Emperor frowned and dismissed the stormtrooper, then ordered the guards to take Dareg’s mother captive - again. ** The Emperor never heard from Trey again - or, as the Emperor called him, Darth Trenx - but he didn’t care very much. The Emperor already had a new apprentice - Darth Vader. ** The remaining Jedi - Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Shaak Ti, Jace, and Rys would all mourn the deaths of Dareg, Karra, and the four clone troopers for a long time to come. ** Ahsoka and Shaak Ti never met up on Felucia - Shaak Ti was murdered by Darth Vader’s secret assassin, Starkiller, before they met up with each other. Ahsoka managed to find a way off of the planet, but it would have been safer to just stay there - she was captured by the Emperor and held captive for the remainder of her life. ** Jace and Rys had gone on with their separate lives as normal, hiding from the Empire’s troopers and trying to find other Jedi who could help them on their seemingly endless journeys, and mourning the loss of the great friends they once had. ** As many know, Jedi have the kindest of hearts, as do their parents. That is why the Emperor let Dareg’s mother go. Not because he was a Jedi, but because Vader’s secret assassin - whom was no longer a secret by now - was Dareg’s brother. Galen Marek was at a loss of words when Vader told him that he wasn’t an only child. Although he seemed happy to hear that part, when Vader explained that not only was his brother a Jedi, but that he was now dead, Starkiller could not speak. He simply didn’t know what to say. “I will leave you to… take this information in.” Darth Vader said. He seemed to show affection to Galen… which was odd for a Sith. “My master…” Starkiller started before Darth Vader could leave, “What was his name? My… my brother’s name?” He asked. “That is not of importance. What is important is that-” Vader grabbed his neck, coughing - Galen was force choking him. “What was his name?” Marek asked more sternly this time, and lowered his hand. “Dareg Cooper.” Vader said, and left. Marek thought about that for awhile, and he decided he would leave the Empire to become a Jedi… and later, start what would become the Rebellion. _____________________ Well, it's over.
