Sam awoke in his small room in the rebel base, on Yavin4. He felt something odd. It was a feeling he had felt several times before... but not quite as intense. He leeped from his bunk to the floor, and grabbed his blaster. He looked around for danger, but the only sign of movement was coming from his partner and roomate, Corporal Darlaan Miller. He was studying a datapad. An Alliance datapad.
"Hey, Darl" Sam said.
"Hey, Cap," He said with a small nod.
"Coudn't sleep?"
"No, not allowed to. This just came in. Commander'n'cheif wants us on deck in an hour."
"Alright," Sam said with a sigh. He grabbed his clothes and headed for the locker room. "This better be worth it..."

Yavin4, west side of temple.

Turtle awoke with a gasp, instinctively going for her blaster. She looked around the room, and flipped on the light. Nothing. The only thing there was her roomate, Badger. She flipped off the light, and slipped back into bed... Only to get out again at the sound of her com link buzzing.
"Turtle here. Whats up?"
"Captain," came the reply, "Mon Mothma wants you on deck. She says you got a mission"
"Can I sleep first?"
"Unfortunately...No..."
She walked to Badger's bed and tapped her on the shoulder. "Get up, we got a mission. Grab Ani, too."
Ani, a DEMO expert from the Commando wing, was a member of Turtles small task force. He had become a good friend over time, and went with Turtle on nearly every mission.
"Alright," Badger replied, "But I don't like it." She left the room, leaving Turtle with the bad feeling she awoke with.

Command room, Yavin4

"It just isn't right, commander," Mon Mothma said. She had been in conversation with Dodonna for quite some time... and hated every word he spoke.
"I can't say its possible, but we have to try," He said.
"Sending a task force this small could destroy the Alliance! What then?"
A door hissed open, and Captain Turtle, along with Ani, Badger and two commandos entered.

"Ah, Task force Alpha. Come in," she said. "I am sorry you won't be meeting your pilot this time... but we think it won't matter much. We are sending you on a mission to do near the impossible. You are our last hope for the Alliance."
