Hey guys! Because it's getting pretty close to Christmas I thought that episode 2 of The Courageous Six should be a bit Christmassy. So here it is - Part 1 of The Abominable Snowmen...

The gunship roared upwards into Mustafar’s stratosphere, its hatches closed to protect its occupants. Soon it docked into a Republic cruiser which left Mustafar’s atmosphere and jumped into hyperspace. In the docking bay, four Jedi, two bounty hunters and three surviving clones stepped out of the gunship and made their way to the rest room. Suddenly a clone captain hurriedly walked up to them.
“Hey Rex,” said Von, “what’s the deal?”
“General Secura requests your presence on the bridge, sir,” said Rex, “all of you, that is.”
“Well tell her we need a break first,” Dalek exclaimed.
“Er, it’s urgent, sir.”
“Oh, all right, then,” Dalek relented, and he and the group followed Captain Rex to the bridge, where the Twi’lek Jedi general was waiting.
“Congratulations on your successful infiltration of Mustafar’s Separatist prison,” Aayla Secura said to the group of six. “Unfortunately, there is no time for rest.” Everyone’s shoulders drooped. “We have received an urgent distress call from Hoth.” She gestured to the clone at her side. “Bly, play the recording to them.” Bly pressed a button on the console; the recording that followed chilled everyone to the bone.
“To everyone who is listening, this is an urgent distress call! We’ve crashed on Hoth and our ship is broken. Our master was taken away by… the monsters! Anyone who can hear me, please… help…” The voice was that of a small child…
“It’s only a little kid…” Jerek said worriedly.
“It was a group of Jedi younglings who crashed there,” Aayla said, “and it’s your job to find them. We’ve set course for Hoth; you’d better get suited up, it’s freezing down there!”

The six colleagues were packing their backpacks and zipping up their parkas, preparing for their mission.
“Now,” said Dalek, looking at the two Jedi he didn’t know, “I never really found out your names.”
“My name is James Tinarkii,” one of them said.
“And you can call me Bio,” said the other.
“You fought pretty well back on Mustafar,” Alex said to both of them.
“Thanks,” they both said simultaneously.
“Right,” said Dalek, “are we all ready?”
“Readier than ever,” Von replied.

Karlen trudged through the thick snow as he tried to make as much distance as he could. His fellow Jedi Initiates Zordo and Niton had gone missing while fleeing from the snow monsters that had attacked their crashed ship. He only prayed they were alright. Luckily he had managed to send out a distress signal and packed some food supplies while still with the ship. Unfortunately, their master had been taken away by the terrible creatures in the snow. It would take him a stroke of luck for him to get out of this unforgiving place.
But that stroke of luck came as he heard the whirring engines of a gunship overhead. He looked up, began waving his hands and shouted, “HEEEEEEY! DOWN HERE!” But the people inside the gunship failed to hear or see him in the dense fog, and continued overhead.
Karlen fell to his knees and began to weep. He feared that he will never escape this place alive…
