Here's the second half: --------------------- A captain commando fell on top of the Major with a vibro-blade. The Major then grabbed the handle of the blade with one hand and with his other hand grabbed the head of the commando twisting it and disabling it. He then flipped the droid off of his back onto the floor and stabbed it with its own blade. The storage room was a mess. Boxes fell left and right as clone troopers and commando droids engaged in hand-to-hand combat. More often than not, the unlucky clone trooper was beaten. After the clones had managed to defeat all the commandos there were 20 clone fatalities. “Alright men, let’s move out of here and search the rest of this place,” ordered the Major. The 239 troopers left moved cautiously out of the storage room and back into the main part of the building. They inspected the rest of the main room and found nothing. Only the manufacturing vicinity was left to check. Once they entered they found rows of conveyor belts that twisted and turned around the entire room. The vicinity also had a large clear, glass roof. “Check the ceiling,” said the Major, “We don’t want what happened in the storage room to happen again.” “We’re all clear from the skies sir,” said a captain. The clones noticed another level in the room which looked like led to offices. Two platoons went up the stairs to examine the rooms while the Major and the others on the first floor continued searching for droids. They cautiously approached the first door. As soon as they opened it B-1 battle droids fired. A clone threw a thermal detonator in there and closed the door. After it went off, they opened the door to find the droids lying in heaps of scrap metal. “Good thinking,” said a lieutenant to the trooper who threw the detonator. “What’s going on up there?” yelled the Major. “Nothing sir. We’re just playing with bombs,” a lieutenant yelled back. “Well, be careful!” “Yes sir.” As the clones upstairs took care of all the B-1 battle droids and the occasional super the Major and his men were done searching the vicinity. “What’s that noise?” asked the Major. “I don’t hear anything sir,” replied a clone. “It sounds like something rolling… droidekas!” said the Major. Three droidekas rolled into the vicinity and deployed. The clones took cover behind anything they could but they weren’t fast enough. “You guys get down here!” roared the Major to the clones on the second floor. The clones finally got down and used the remaining thermal detonators to take out the droidekas. “Check the rest of this facility!” ordered the Major, “I want every last droid gone.” The clones again broke up into platoons and checked the rest of the facility. After a few minutes they were gathered in the main room and told the major their findings. “We’re all clear, sir. There’s not a single droid left,” said a captain. “Good, now what is our casualty count?” inquired the Major. “Um, it’s not good sir.” “Just tell me.” “We’ve lost 119 men, sir. These troopers are too young, inexperienced. We can’t keep on if this is what’s going to happen every time,” replied the Captain. “I know, but that’s the Commander’s decision, it’s out of my hands,” said the Major with a hint of depression, “Let’s get back to the Commander and ask what we do next.” --------------------- I hope you all liked it and thanks!
