Description

As you can see, I have recently got the new 2013 ST-RT set. First of all, I just want to tell you, this set is pretty awesome, I would definately reccommend it!


Pic 1: The entire set. I'll start the review with the AT-RT. This new AT-RT design in much larger than previous models, which makes this one more to scale. I really like the colour choices fit for the 501st. Overall, 10/10 on the AT-RT.


Pic 2: Yoda. Not much has changed with tis little guy, just that now he has a dark green lightsaber rather than the old yellow-y one, and more detail on his torso peice. Overall, 10/10.


Pic 3: 501st phase 2 trooper. I really like the new design for the phase 2 clones. He has the new ARC / Old Republic trooper style legs, and nice detailing overall. The only thing I'd say is to make his helmet a bit shorter; it looks as though Ki-Adi Mundi's head could fit into his helmet. Overall, 9/10.

Pic 4: Commando droid Captain. The only new thing with this fig is the head detailing. LEGO did a very good job on the head designs. Overall, 10/10.

Pic 5: Droideka. Just about everything has change with this figure. As you can see, it no longer has arms, so the only blaster on it is coming out of it's chest area. I believe the Droideka in the new Naboo fighter had a better design, but this is still very well done. Overall, 8/10.


So, for the entire set as a whole, I'd have to grade this as a 9/10, simply because of the price; I think $28.78 (Canadian dollars, tax included)is a little too high, considering this set only has 222 peices. Either way, (as I said before) I would definately reccommend this set to anyone who likes Star Wars LEGO.


Well, there's my very first set review! I hope you all liked it, and hopefully this helped some of you decide whether or not to buy this set.

I have some bad news, too. Episode 19 of Rise of Darkness was rejected, and now it won't let me view my creations, so I can't edit that episode (I already changed it on Microsoft Word, so I just have to copy and paste it) so that it will be accepted. Don't worry, I will try to add episode 19 as a completely new creation, and beg the Mods to accept it because of what I had just said. So, that's it. I hope you all liked it! -REM
